Community Empowerment Grant Workshop – 2025 Round Two
How to Create a Sustainable, Locally-led Main Street
Missouri community members and stakeholders interested in revitalizing their historic commercial district should attend one of the Community Empowerment Grant Workshops in 2025. Through the workshop, stakeholders will learn about the time-tested Main Street principles for downtown revitalization and the 70/30 Matching Service Grant offered by Missouri Main Street Connection. This grant provides services that assist in the establishment of a locally-led 501c3 nonprofit Main Street organization to lead volunteers in implementing downtown revitalization through the Four Points of the Main Street Approach™ in their historic commercial district.
Workshop take aways:
- The Main Street philosophy of revitalization
- How to apply for the grant and scoring criteria
- Application materials and deadlines
