From preservation projects to promoting community values, Main Street improves the quality of life of those living, working, and playing in historic districts across Missouri.
Every community across Missouri has a unique mix of values. Values range from visitor-focused and family-focused to inclusion and volunteerism. These values are infused into transformation strategies that guide local Main Street initiatives for two to three years. MMSC assists in the development of these strategies and helps local programs uncover their values.
The impact of Main Street is only possible by working strategically, hand in hand with local, state, and national partners. As a state-wide level partner, MMSC works alongside local Main Street programs in providing guidance through consultations, assisting in preservation projects through our connections and resources, and more.
